Michael M. Yalovenko, Esq.
Attorney Michael M. Yalovenko received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Education in 1996 and Master's of Art Degree in Linguistics (Summa Cum Laude) in 1997 from Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, Russian Federation.
He was awarded a Juris Doctor Degree by Suffolk University Law School in 2005.
Attorney Michael Yalovenko is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
He is a member of:
- American Immigration Lawyers Association;
- Boston Bar Association;
- Massachusetts Bar Association;
- American Bar Association.
In addition, Attorney Yalovenko is a title agent for the Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.
He is fluent in English and Russian, and conversant in Spanish.
As part of his legal education and experience, he spent the spring semester of 2004 at the University College of London Law School, where he studied European Union Law, International Law, International Commercial Transactions, and Comparative Constitutions. His understanding of these subjects was further enhanced during his internship at the Chambers of Elizabeth Appleby, Queen's Counsel at Gray's Inn, London.
Thereafter, for almost two years, he worked as a law clerk at a leading immigration law firm in Boston, playing a key role in providing services for clients and engaging in extensive legal research, writing, and analysis.
Having been a visitor's visa holder, and, subsequently, a green card holder, prior to becoming a United States citizen, Attorney Yalovenko is intimately familiar with the stumbling blocks on the way to admission for lawful residence and citizenship, and is well-versed in resolving these difficulties.
In his own practice, he has been successfully representing clients from all corners of the world and walks of life, bringing his knowledge of the intricacies of immigration law, and his experience and dedication, to diverse immigrant communities.
Michael Yalovenko represents clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of State, the United States Embassies and Consular Posts abroad, Federal and State Courts, as well as in private transactions.
Personal Interests
Since childhood, Michael has been actively involved in Dance Sport, otherwise known as Ballroom Dancing, and has successfully participated in many National and International Competitions. He currently teaches Dance Sport at a leading dance studio in Boston and, on occasion, judges Dance Sport Competitions.
